1. Who we are
China Travel Atlas is operated by Shenzhen Huyi International Travel Agency Co., Ltd., an inbound and domestic travel agency based in Shenzhen, China (International Travel Agency License L-GD-103241). “You” means the website visitor, traveler, or person making a booking.
2. Website information and planning tools
Our guides, comparisons, readiness checks, weather displays, route matches, and AI-assisted inputs are general planning aids. They are not immigration, legal, medical, financial, safety, or insurance advice. Results are generated from the information available to us and may not reflect recent changes or your individual circumstances.
- Verify entry and visa rules with the relevant Chinese embassy, consulate, airline, or immigration authority.
- Confirm schedules, availability, prices, closures, health requirements, and local restrictions before relying on them.
- Weather information is supplied by a third party and is not a safety forecast or guarantee.
- Do not use an AI-generated preference summary as a factual source.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the site for personal, non-commercial trip research. You must not interfere with the site, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, scrape at a rate that disrupts service, impersonate another person, submit unlawful material, or use the service to violate another person’s rights.
4. Saved trips and accounts
Saved trips use an unlisted link rather than a conventional user account. You are responsible for protecting and sharing that link appropriately. We may remove saved trips that are abusive, unlawful, technically harmful, or retained beyond our operational period. The feature is provided without a guarantee of permanent storage; keep your own copy of important plans.
5. Inquiries, proposals, and bookings
An inquiry or sample itinerary is not an offer, reservation, or guarantee of availability. A personalized proposal will state the services, dates, inclusions, exclusions, price, payment schedule, cancellation terms, and any supplier-specific conditions. Your booking becomes binding only when we confirm it in writing and receive the stated payment.
If a personalized proposal or booking confirmation conflicts with these general terms, the more specific written booking document controls for that booking.
6. Prices and payment
Prices are valid only for the period stated in a proposal and may depend on availability, exchange rates, taxes, group size, and supplier charges. We will disclose the currency, payment schedule, and known mandatory charges before confirmation. Payment processing may be provided by a third party under its own terms. You are responsible for bank, card, or currency-conversion charges unless the proposal says otherwise.
7. Changes, cancellations, and refunds
The cancellation schedule applicable to a paid trip will be stated in your proposal or booking confirmation. Supplier costs may be non-refundable or subject to separate conditions. Any cancellation must be made in writing. Where we approve a refund, timing may depend on the original payment method and recovery of funds from suppliers.
We may make reasonable itinerary changes for safety, weather, closures, transport disruption, government action, or operational necessity. We will try to provide a comparable alternative and explain material changes as soon as practicable.
8. Traveler responsibilities
- Ensure passports, visas, permits, insurance, health documents, and entry eligibility are correct for every traveler.
- Provide accurate information and promptly disclose accessibility, dietary, or health needs relevant to the services requested.
- Follow applicable laws, supplier rules, meeting times, and reasonable safety instructions.
- Review all names, dates, and booking details when provided; notify us promptly of errors.
- Obtain travel insurance suitable for the itinerary, including medical care, evacuation, disruption, and cancellation where appropriate.
9. Third-party services
Hotels, airlines, rail operators, guides, drivers, attractions, payment providers, and other suppliers are independent parties. Their own terms may apply. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for acts or omissions outside our reasonable control, but we will assist with legitimate service issues relating to arrangements made through us.
10. Events beyond reasonable control
Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disaster, epidemic, war, civil unrest, transport shutdown, border restriction, government action, or major systems failure. We will work in good faith on available alternatives. Refunds or credits may be reduced by irrecoverable supplier costs, subject to applicable law and the booking terms.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by inaccurate information you provide, or events outside our reasonable control. Any limitation stated in a booking agreement applies only to the extent lawful. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
12. Intellectual property and links
Unless otherwise indicated, the site’s original text, design, databases, branding, and software are owned by or licensed to us. You may quote and link to reasonable portions with attribution for non-commercial purposes, but may not republish substantial parts or imply endorsement without permission. Third-party names, images, data, and links remain the property or responsibility of their respective owners.
13. Governing law and disputes
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly. These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without removing any mandatory consumer protection that applies in your country of residence. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, disputes are subject to the competent courts in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.
14. Changes and contact
We may update the website terms prospectively by changing the date above. The terms supplied with a confirmed booking remain applicable to that booking unless both parties agree otherwise or the law requires a change. Contact info@chinatravelatlas.com with questions.
